Evidence Library

The Evidence Library contains the research memoranda, supporting documents, and reference materials developed for the Maui Stewardship Project. Documents are organized by subject area and updated as research progresses. Whenever practical, original public sources are cited so readers may examine the underlying evidence and reach their own informed conclusions.
Housing, water, infrastructure, environmental stewardship, economics, and public policy cannot be understood in isolation. The same evidence often informs multiple questions, which is why publications may appear in more than one section of the Evidence Library.
